If your project is being produced, written, projected or made within an educational or community setting, you may reproduce, print or project a Leunig cartoon, poem or written excerpt free of charge. You don't need permission if there is no profit being made from your project. You may also use a cartoon, poem or written excerpt on a personal blog, or social media page as long as it is credited. You can drag and drop web-sized cartoons from the cartoon gallery, or the recent cartoons page. Please use the contact form if you cannot find the cartoon you are looking for.

Commercial

Michael considers all requests on merit and does not have a set speaking fee, but we encourage you to make an offer according to what your budget can reasonably allow. If you are based outside Victoria, please take travel (airfares, airport transfers) and accommodation requirements into your offer.
How do I order a print not shown on the website?
If you wish to order a cartoon print not displayed on the website, please follow these steps:
1. Online Shop (Prints)
2. Choose 'Custom Print'
3. Type the name of your chosen image into the "Custon Print Selection" box
4. Follow the steps for selecting your size and check out
Can I have my print dedicated?
Yes. Michael can write a simple dedication ("For John", or "Happy Birthday John") on your cartoon print if you wish. Please This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. us your request. All prints are signed by Michael.
Does the print size include a white border around the image?
Yes. When you order a print (A4, A3, A2 or A1) it refers to the paper size the image is printed on. The printed image will be slightly smaller than the paper size, as the white border allows for framing, Michael's signature and a dedication (if you would like it). The print images in the online shop are small examples of what your print will look like, you can see the ratio of white border to printed image here.
Can I purchase an original cartoon?
Michael Leunig does not sell his original cartoons. They will be housed by the National Library of Australia (ACT).
I would like to get a Leunig tattoo...
You are welcome to have Michael's work tattooed if you wish. You don't need written permission and there is no copyright fee.
